School Campaign: Our School Campaign for SY 2011-2012

These pictures were taken during our School Campaign for school year 2012-2013. This is our school's yearly activity, visiting almost 15 high school campuses in Samal. Part of the visit is by giving scholarship examination and at the same time informing the graduating students (4th year high school) about the programs being offered by our school. I believe that this task is somewhat very tiring but the idea of reaching to far flung area in Island Garden City of Samal (IGACOS) is the best reward.

Below is the map of the island, now try locate the following names of places in the figure and try to picture out how far we've traveled for our campaign. Well, our school is located in Villarica, Babak in Babak District, from our home school, we rode trip going to Kaputian Wharf in Kaputian District, that is about 30 to 45 minute ride, then we travel by boat (we paid Php. 300) to reach our first school destination, Sta. Cruz National High School located in Talicud Island (see the map).

This was our second destination school, the Don Esteban Dasalla NHS, this school is located in Kanaan, Kaputian District (see the map). From the Kaputian wharf of which we had our lunch, we traveled for about an hour just to reach the DEDNHS, well it was a bumpy ride really! But I was bit surprised of the scenery I have seen, the landscapes and the coastal area.
